The Centre for Bat Research and Conservation
Xianyunling, Fanshan District, Beijing
The Centre for Bat Research was developed by Professor Shuyi Zhang in 2004-2005. The Centre has a display area, dormitories, a kitchen and dining room, experimental rooms, bat housing facilities and a large flight area that has hosted a colony of fishing bats Myotis ricketti. The Centre has hosted Masters and PhD students, and groups of schoolchildren.
